🏃♂️ Event Overview
Description: OUR 8TH ANNUAL RUN ON ROUND LAKE 5K WILL BE AN EVENING RUN!!! This event offers a walk/run course that will start on the RLC campus, run on round lake road (which will be closed), move on the RLC cross country course (which is sand, dirt and grass) and then finish back at the start. The first 175 entries will receive a finishers medal.

Proceeds will help benefit and support the RLC athletic department which aims to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for school aged sports.
📝 Registration Information
- Early Registration: June 1 thru Sept 30th - $25.00 (guaranteed a T-shirt and finisher medal)
- Regular Registration: October 1st - October 24th - $30.00 (guaranteed a T-shirt and first 175 registered will receive a finishers medal)
- Last Minute Registration: October 25th thru Race Day - $35.00 (T-shirt not guaranteed)
📦 Packet Pick Up
- Friday, November 7th: 3:15 - 4:30 at the RLC GYM
- Same Day Pickup: November 8th from 4:00pm - 4:45pm at the start/finish line

- 4:00pm - 4:45pm: Registration & Packet Pick-up
- 4:45pm: Youth Mile - 10 & under Only
- 5:00pm: 5K Run/Walk Race Start
- 6:15pm: Awards Ceremony
👕 Tee Shirts
Shirts are guaranteed for all participants registered before Friday, October 24th. Shirts are not guaranteed for participants that register after October 24th. They are performance (dri-fit type) T-shirts again this year.
🏆 Awards & Medals
- Overall Awards: Top male and female awards
- Age Group Awards: Top in each age group (one male and one female): 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- Finishers Medals: The first 175 people to register will receive a finishers medal.
⏱️ Timing & Scoring
The event will be chip timed and scored with disposable chips attached to the back of each bib.
🛍️ Round Lake Items for Sale
T-shirts from all our sports teams: $10, RLC lanyards: $3, and RLC car magnets: $5 (cash or check only)
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
- When and where does the race take place? Saturday, November 8th at Round Lake Charter School: Race start time is promptly 5:00 pm.
- Where can I park? You will be able to park on Round Lake Charter School campus and on the Real Life Church campus next to the RLC.
- How long is the course? The 5K is 3.1 miles & there is a 1 mile youth race.
- Will there be a concession stand? Yes, there will be a wide variety of RLC gear to buy.
📝 Additional Information
- Timing: The race uses an electronic timing system.
- Packet Pick Up: Packet pick-up will start at 3:15-4:30pm on Friday, November 7th in the gym and on race day starting at 4:00pm until 4:45pm at RLC.
- Pets: We do not allow pets on the course.
- Strollers: Strollers are permitted but no bikes, skateboards, etc.
📅 Refund and Transfer Policy
We appreciate your race registration but we are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks. The race is a "rain or shine" event. We have a NO TRANSFER and No REFUND policy.
