Breaking Down the Stigma Addiction and Mental Awareness 5K Sponsored by NewVista Behavioral Health

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us Sunday, August 31st, 2025, for the 2nd Annual Overdose Awareness day - Breaking Down the Stigma 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk as we honor lives lost to drug overdose. The CDC estimated 107,543 U.S. drug overdose deaths in 2023. While this is a 3% decline from 110,029 deaths in 2022, this is 295 deaths per day. We will run and walk to remember those lives, as well as raise awareness.

Kids 12 and under are $15.00

🏅 Awards

Top finishers will get a medal: Top 5 overall Male & Female / Top 5 Male & Female Masters Overall (60+): all participants will get a ribbon.

🐾 Pet Policy

Dogs are allowed, but we ask that you line up in the back and have a short leash.
