We toe the line every year, and going into our 34th Annual Classic at Mastick, we could not be more excited. Over $320,000 has been raised for high school seniors since our beginning in 1992. This race is open to ALL ages and abilities. Celebrate the kick-off to XC and the best season in style at the Classic at Mastick.

Packet Pick Up (Please plan for Monday or Tuesday)

• Individual Pick Up: Packets must be picked up by individuals. There is no team affiliated pick up.
• Monday: August 10th from 3 to 6:30 PM at Second Sole in Lakewood, 18636 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107
• Tuesday: August 11th from 3 to 6:30 PM at Second Sole in Lakewood, 18636 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107
• Wednesday: Starting at 4 PM until 6:30 PM at South Mastick Picnic Area under the pavilion

Timeline for Race

• 4:00 PM: Race Day Packet Pick Up Begins. Cash/Check only on race day for sign ups.
• 5:00 PM: 2 Miler (all ages prior to 14)
• 6:00 PM: Men's 5k
• 6:45 PM: Women's 5k
• 7:45 PM: Awards

Runner Perks

Entries after August 1st may receive shirt at a later date.

• Soft-fit shirt: Participants will receive a comfortable shirt.
• AISICS giveaways: Enjoy giveaways from AISICS.
• Chip-Timed 5k race: Experience a professionally timed race.
• Awards: Overall and Age Group awards will be provided.
• Giveaways: Pre and post race giveaways and activities will be available.
• Scholarships: We are pleased to give away $10,000 to $12,000 every year to assist with post-secondary expenses.

2 Miler

The Classic is about raising money for scholarships and celebrating the life sport of running. We strive to motivate and excite runners of all ages to lace up their shoes and go. This event will be $10 to run for young runners with the option to purchase the shirt for $15. All funds raised will go to the scholarship program. Boys and girls will run together at 5:00 PM prior to the 5k.
