WAYS Race to Independence 5K

🏃‍♂️ To Benefit

WAYS (Wraparound Youth Services) for Life provides wraparound youth services to youth in Brevard County ages 15-25, who are aging out of the foster care system, experiencing homelessness and unaccompanied youth of our community on their journey to independence. We equip them with the essential tools and resources vital for navigating the challenges of adulthood. WAYS offers a multitude of services to youth in Brevard County including:

• Case Management: Support for navigating services.
• Mental Health: Access to necessary mental health resources.
• Food Services: Provision of meals for those in need.
• Life Skills Program: Tools for daily living and independence.

⏰ Time Table

• Friday, March 28th: Early Packet Pickup and Registration from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd).
• Saturday, March 29th: Space Coast Field of Dreams (3053 Fell Rd, West Melbourne, FL 32904).
• 7:00 AM: Registration & Packet Pickup Opens.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Race Start! *Awards Ceremony immediately following the race.

🏆 Awards

• Top 3: Overall Male & Female.
• Top Masters: Male & Female (40+).
• Top 3: In each age group: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up.
• Largest Team: Award for the biggest participating team.

💵 Fees

• Adult: $35 through 3/28 (race day $40).
• Child (12 & under): $25 through 3/28 (race day $30).
