Join us for the 38th running of this iconic Space Coast Runners road race! You are going to love it! Race #7 in the SCR Runner of the Year Series.

Race Benefits the SCR Christian Lake Memorial Student Scholarship Fund.

This year we'll have 440 spots for the SLAY THE BEAST CHALLENGE!!

ℹ️ Race Details

• Presented by: Power of Pizza Charities
• Course: Challenging 10K certified road race course which includes an out & back over the Eau Gallie Causeway and Indian River.
• Championship: 10K is the 2026 RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship race.
• Alternative: Not up for the full 6.2 miles? Join us for the Tail of the Lizard 2 Mile.

• Challenge: Slay the Beast Challenge—It's the 11th year of the challenge. Sign up & finish both races and you get 3 medals! Space is limited to 440. Top 3 get amazing Dragon swords. You must be able to start the 2 Mile race no later than 8:35 AM.
• Shirts: Free dragon race shirt guaranteed with paid early registration.
• Activities: Dragon dance pre-race. Post race refreshments & food.
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine event, no refunds issued. No dogs allowed.

• 9:00 AM: Tentative Awards Ceremony for all races

• Masters Awards: Top Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), & Senior Grand Masters (60+) Male & Female — 10K & 2 Mile
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in each Age Group— 10K & 2 Mile
• Team Competition: Top Overall 10K Team & 2 Mile Co-ed Team Competition (Team must have a min of 5 members: co-ed must have 1 person of opposite sex)

• 10K RRCA Championship: Male & Female in Open, 40+, 50+, 60+ and Open Adaptive Athlete
