🐄 Carl's Legacy

• Background: Carl was the first cow ever rescued by Iowa Farm Sanctuary.
• Story: At two days old, he was taken to a veal sale, deemed useless as a male dairy cow.
• Survival: Despite odds against him, Carl thrived at IFS, becoming a beloved Holstein.
• Legacy: Carl's birthday, previously celebrated with community parties, is now a tribute to his legacy.

🏃‍♂️ Race Experience

• Course: The 5K will wind around the sanctuary grounds, with rescued residents cheering you on.
• Finish Line Treat: Enjoy Cinnaholic treats waiting for you at the finish line!
• All Abilities: Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome: strollers encouraged!
• Virtual Option: A self-timed virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person.

🎨 Fall Festival Fun

• Festival Activities: Join us for pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, cider, and painting pumpkins.
• Celebration: The celebration has expanded beyond the race—everyone can participate!
• Community: Friends and family welcome to enjoy the festivities, even without racing.
• Party Atmosphere: Carl loved a good party, and we are excited to keep the fun going!

• Entry Includes: Registration (in-person and virtual) includes a t-shirt, bib, and medal.
• Deadline: Register by September 22, 2025 to ensure you receive all items.
• Post-Deadline Note: Participants registering after this date will not receive shirts.
