Join Keep Blount Beautiful and Little River Watershed Association for the 7th Annual Little River Run 5K sponsored by The Abbey, Peaceful Side Social, Allevia Technology, Harrison Construction, Little River Pub and Deli, and Keep Tennessee Beautiful!

Registration Details

• Options: In-person and virtual race options available for participants of all ages.
• Chip-Timed: In-person race will start promptly at 11 AM and is chip-timed.
• Fees: Early-bird $25 until September 7th: $30 from September 8th: $35 from November 10th. Children 12 and under $15.
• Virtual Race: Not chip-timed at a flat rate of $30: registration available on race day until 10 AM.

Virtual Runners Information

• Awards: Not eligible for awards: must self-record times.
• Submission: Times can be reported to director@keepblountbeautiful.org.
• T-shirt Pickup: Virtual runners should pick up T-shirts at pre-race packet pickup.

Course Description

• Certification: The race course is now certified!
• Route: Starts at The Abbey: runs along the Little River, connects to the Townsend Historical Greenway.
• Ending Point: Returns to The Abbey.

T-Shirt Information

• Guarantee: Register by October 29th to guarantee a T-shirt.
• Availability: Limited quantity for late registrants.
• Pickup: In-person only unless picked up at packet pickup on November 13th.

Awards

• Categories: Top three finishers (male and female) and the 1st and 2nd finishers across various age brackets.
• Awards Time: Announced around 12 PM outside The Abbey.
• Presence Required: Participants must be present to receive their award.

Pre-race Packet Pickup

• Date: November 13th from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
• Location: Little River Trading Company/Cycology Bicycles, 2408 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville.
• Pint Night: Each beer purchase will benefit the 5K!
• Race Day Pickup: From 9 AM to 10:30 AM in front of The Abbey.

Parking Information

• Arrival: Please arrive early to ensure timely arrival at the start line.
• Location: Parking available by 8:50 AM in the grass lot to the left of Chocolate B'ar.
• Assistance: Parking attendants will assist upon arrival.
• Overflow: Additional parking at CBBC Bank or the Townsend Post Office.

Volunteers Needed

• Help Required: Set up/tear down, registration/sign-in, parking, and course direction.
• Sign Up: Click the Volunteer tab on the race website.

Post-Run Activities

• Water Bottles: Please bring a reusable water bottle to reduce waste.
• Afterparty: Enjoy lunch, drinks, and prize giveaways at The Abbey.
• Participation: Runners and non-runners welcome.
• Tickets: Each runner receives a free ticket: must be present to win.

Weather Considerations

• Historical High: 60 degrees: low 38 degrees in Townsend during November.
• Dress Sensibly: Consider wearing layers based on outside temperature.
• Race Personnel: Reserves the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to weather.
• No Refunds: There are no refunds or transfers.
