The Purple Hope 5K was created in loving memory of Lenore O’Hanlon, who bravely battled pancreatic cancer for 18 months. Though her fight came to an end, her strength and spirit live on through this annual event, which brings the community together to raise awareness and support the search for a cure.
Back for its THIRD year, the Purple Hope 5K is a walk/run for all ages and paces—whether you’re racing toward the finish line or strolling in support, your participation makes a difference.
Race Day: Sunday, October 4, 2026
Let’s make this year even bigger, louder, and more purple in honor of Lenore. Together, we run with purpose. Together, we run with hope.
Participants that sign up before September 10th will receive a jaw-string bag with a Tshirt, water bottle, wristbands and small little extras. ALL participants that sign up will receive a medal and certificate of completion at the end of the race regardless of when they sign up.
