🦃 Turkey Shuffle Event Details

This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🏃‍♂️ Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This event is for our little Yeti's and is typically about a 50 meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under. This is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chip timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers.
• 10K: Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall Bigfoot trophies for male and female finishers.

🎉 Fun and Festivities

• DJ Sasquatch: Will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you’re motivated and pumped throughout your run.
• Costume Contest: Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing up in your most creative, Thanksgiving-themed costume.
• Recognition and Awards: Every runner will be celebrated with recognition and age group awards.
• Snacks: Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Costume Awards: Winner will receive an impressive "Biggest Turkey" Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $40 HEB gift card, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack.
• Age Group Awards: Standard awards will be given out for top finishers in various age categories including trophies and recognition pins.
• Finishers: All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.
• Refund Opportunity: Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.

📅 Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:55am: Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line)
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Awards: Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!
