United Way of Posey County Pajamas All Day 5K/Walk Run & Kids Dash

🎉 Event Overview

Join us for the United Way of Posey County Pajamas All Day 5K/Walk Run & Kids Dash! Come out in and participate your favorite family friendly pajamas! This event will raise money to support our agencies and the programs within Posey County in relation to health, financial security, and education. The event will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the race starting at 8:00 a.m. Kid's Dash following at 9:15 a.m.

🏃 Race Details

• Kid's Dash: The Kid's Dash will consist of 50 yards for ages 5 and under and 100 yards for ages 6 to 10.
• Awards: Awards will be given to top overall 3 females and top 3 males in each age category.
• New Addition: New for this year is a 1 mile walk.
• Registration: Individuals that register for the 5K by or before October 17, 2025, will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag.

📍 Packet Pickup & Location

Packet pick up on race day will be at the park located at Main and Sixth Streets in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Course map will be added when finalized!

🗺️ Race Route

Up Date: Pajama’s All Day 5k Race Route

Start at Cox Group on 5th Street.

• Straight: Go Straight on 5th Street until Walnut Street.
• Turn Right: Turn right on Walnut Street.
• Continue: Go all the way to E 10th Street.
• Next Steps: Turn right onto E 10th Street, then right onto Mulberry St.

Go down to 6th Street and turn left. Go to Canal Street, turn left. Go around the road until you get to Locust Street, turn right onto Locust St. Go to E 10th Street, Turn right. Turn Right onto L&N Street. Go to E 8th Street, right left. Go to Harriett Street, turn left. Take the next right on E 9th Street. Turn left into the Track. Do two laps in the track (You’ll hit Mile 2 at the start of the second Lap). Turn left back onto E 9th Street and follow the road around the school. Go straight onto Everett Street. Turn right onto E 5th Street. Finish at the Cox Group.
