🚀 Event Overview
Purpose: The Space Race 3K is a walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard.
Course: The walk/run journeys participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis®, and Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®.
Presentation: Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut.
After-Party: After the race, enjoy a beer at the after-race party!

Venue: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is located on Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island, FL.

Early Registration (until December 31, 2024)

Online Registration: Suggested donation of $5 to the United Way.

Wednesday, January 15, 2025 @ Running Zone: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM: Packet Pick Up.
Thursday, January 16, 2025 @ Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Packet Pick up.
Shirt: Complimentary race shirt (Guaranteed shirt if registered by December 17, 2024).
Medal: Race Medal for the first 1500 registrants.
Route: The walk/run guides participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets.
After-Party: Enjoy a beer at the after-race party!

Guarantee: Only pre-registered participants that complete the registration by December 17, 2024 are guaranteed a complimentary race shirt.
🚗 Parking
Complimentary Parking: Available in parking lots 4 and 5 beginning at 5:00 PM.

Beneficiary: Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Brevard.
Impact: More than 82,000 people live in poverty in Brevard, experiencing challenges with hunger, homelessness, domestic violence and health.
