Celebrate the Lowcountry’s autumn season at Charleston Collegiate School's Fall Festival at Kiawah River, featuring the Run Like the Devil 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, October 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families and friends are invited to enjoy a farmers market full of local makers and goods, classic fall festival games, live music, food trucks and more. Pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times.

With more than 2,000 acres of picturesque land, Kiawah River offers Fall Festival attendants and race participants unmatched views of the season-changing leaves in the Lowcountry. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to RSVP online prior to the event.

• Check-in: 9 a.m.
• 5K Trail Run: Starts at 10 a.m.
• Fun Run: Starts at 12 p.m.
• Proceeds: Support the Charleston Collegiate School’s annual fund.

• 5K: $50 - Register before Oct. 3rd to secure your t-shirt.
• Fun Run: $35 per runner - Register before Oct. 3rd to secure your t-shirt.
• Lazy Devil: $25 (Sleep in, still rock the t-shirt!) - Register before Oct. 3rd to secure your t-shirt.

FAQs so you’re ready for RLTD 2025!

• Do you have to register to attend the event? We encourage all non-runner attendees to register for FREE. We’d love for you to join us even if you don’t run. There will be a bounce house and large slide, dunk tank, live music, food vendors, and lots of fun to be had! Use this link to register: Register here.
• Where do I park? Before 9:45 AM: Head to 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway (look for the Kiawah River sign and turn into the left lane). After entering the driveway, follow the road for 1.5 miles until you reach our parking attendants. Between 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM: To avoid race traffic starting at 9:45 AM, you may enter the community via River Rd. onto Mullet Hall Rd. For this route, please use 2501 Mullet Hall Rd. in your GPS. Traffic is expected to return to normal following the completion of the 5K race.
• Where can I pick up my race packet? You can pick up your race packet at the registration table beginning at 9:00 AM. This will include your race bib, T-shirt (if applicable), and a swag bag of goodies from our sponsors (if applicable).
• Is the race chip-timed? Yes, the 5K race is chip-timed by Charleston Road Race Services.

🐾 Additional Information

• Are strollers welcome? The 5K and Fun Run terrain will require all-terrain strollers. We ask that strollers start at the back.
• Are participants permitted to walk in the races? Absolutely! Walkers are welcome in both the 5K and the Fun Run. We ask that walkers start at the back. The course offers beautiful scenery!
• Are dogs welcome? Yes! Please bring your pets, but keep them on a leash and clean up after them. Don't forget dog bags!
• What does registration include? 5K registration includes a chip-timed trail run, race T-shirt (only guaranteed for those registered prior to October 3rd: extra T-shirts may be available for late registration), prizes for the top 3 female and top 3 male race winners, and recognition for top winners in each age group.

The 5K registration fee is $50, and the Fun Run fee is $35.
