Event Details

• Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
• Check in Begins: 8:00 am
• 5K Run/Walk Start: 9:00 am
• Awards Ceremony: 10:30 am, includes Remembrance and Presentation

Virtual Option

• Participation: Complete the 5K from anywhere between September 1 and October 4.
• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) - run, walk, crawl, or bike.
• Race Packet: Available for pickup or for an additional $5 to be mailed.
• Inclusion: Packet includes a custom KJ's 5K t-shirt & a unique finishers medal.

Packet Pickup & Mailing

• Pickup Dates: October 6-10, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: Portage Path Behavioral Health, 340 South Broadway Street, Akron, Ohio 44308
• Mailing: Packets will be mailed on Tuesday, October 7.
• Results Submission: Submit your virtual results from September 1 through October 4 here.

Pricing

• In-Person (Ages 15 and under): $10.00 (until August 31), $15.00 (until September 30), $20.00 (up to Event Day)
• In-Person (Ages 16 and up): $25.00 (until August 31), $30.00 (until September 30), $35.00 (up to Event Day)
• Virtual Option: $30.00 (up to October 4), plus $5 if shipping required
• Shirt Options: Youth Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, and No Shirt option available.

T-Shirt

• Availability: After September 15, t-shirts are first come first serve and not guaranteed.
• Guarantee: If you registered on or before the 15th, your t-shirt will be available in the requested size.

Awards

• Top 3: Overall Men, Women, and Youth category winners.

Organization

• Support: Local Mental Health and Animal Rescue organizations.
• Purpose: Address the suicide epidemic affecting our community.
• Impact: Help fund suicide prevention, education, and care for homeless animals.
• Donations: Can be made through registration or via the linked fundraiser page.
