- Official T-shirt: An official BrooklynRoseStrong race-day T-shirt
- Finisher Medal: A finisher medal
Helping Families Through Their Darkest Times
When a child is seriously ill, families often face overwhelming emotional and financial burdens. Parents may need to miss work, travel long distances for treatment, maintain their household expenses, and make impossible decisions during the most difficult time of their lives.
Brooklyn’s Petals of Hope Foundation helps ease those burdens by assisting families with needs such as:
- Transportation Expenses: Transportation expenses to and from treatment centers
- Mortgage Payments: Monthly mortgage payments
- Utility Bills: Utility bills
- Bereavement Support: Bereavement support and funeral expenses for families who have lost a child
Every registration, donation, sponsorship, and fundraising effort helps the foundation provide meaningful support when families need it most.
More Than a Race
The BrooklynRoseStrong 5K is a morning of remembrance, hope, community, and purpose.
Runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Whether you are racing for a personal-best time, walking with your family, participating in memory of a loved one, or standing beside a family affected by DIPG/DMG or childhood cancer, every step makes a difference.
The event will include:
- 5K Event: A family-friendly 5K walk/run
- Kids Dash: A special Kids Dash
- Top Finisher Awards: Awards for the top male and female finishers
- Team Awards: An award for the Largest Team and the Most Spirited Team
- Fundraiser Recognition: Recognition for the Top Individual Fundraiser and the Top Team Fundraiser
Create a Team and Multiply Your Impact
