Rotary Club of Kissimmee West presents the Rise & Run 5K @ NEOCITY

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West “Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity” will take place in NeoCity in Kissimmee in October. This is the first annual and first 5K (3.1 miles) in NeoCity.

🌍 Community Impact

• Purpose: An opportunity for individuals or teams to make an impact on our community.
• Fundraising: Help the Rotary Club of Kissimmee West raise money for domestic violence survivors.
• Education: Support efforts to eradicate and educate on ending Polio globally!
• Activities: Refreshments, a silent auction, and booths with various businesses including the NeoCity Academy volunteers.

🏅 Participation and Awards

• Finisher Medal: Everyone who participates will receive a finisher's medal.
• Recognition: Top 10 Male and Female finishers will be recognized.
• Team Awards: Titles for the Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited team, and Service Above Self team.
• Discounts: Teams with five or more participants will receive a discount.

⏰ Event Timeline

• 6:45am: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens.
• 8:00am: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins.
• 9:00am: Awards ceremony.
• 9:15am: FREE Kids’ Dashes begin.

👕 Race Amenities

• T-shirt: Race Tee 5K Run & Walk t-shirt!
• Finisher Medal: For all 5K Fun Run participants.
• Refreshments: Water and post-race snacks will be provided.
• Awards: For Top 10 Overall male & female finishers and team awards.

💲 Registration Fees

• Adults 13 & Older: $35.00 through 10/11/25: $40.00 from 10/12/25 - 10/17/25: $45.00 Day of the race (if not sold out).
• Youth 12 & Under: $30.00 through 10/11/25: $35.00 from 10/12/25 - 10/17/25: $40.00 Day of the race (if not sold out).
• Team Rate: $5.00 off each registration if you register 5 or more at one time!
• Payment: Race Day Registration payment will be accepted via credit card through RunSignup only!

📅 Race Day Information

• Non-Refundable: All entry fees are non-refundable and race registrations are non-transferable.
• Weather Policy: This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
• T-Shirts: All participants will receive a unisex RCKW Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity t-shirt with entry. Sizes are guaranteed through October 4, 2025.
• Finishers Medals: All paid 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom themed finisher medal.

🎖️ Fun Run Awards

Race awards will go to the top 10 overall adult male & female finishers. We will also have team awards for the Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited Team, and Service Above Self Team. This is a FUN RUN: finish times will be manually recorded, and a clock will be available at the finish line for participants to see their times.

👶 Free Kids Dashes

Following the 5K event, we will host a free kids’ dash. Children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. All children participating must be accompanied by an adult and will receive a Finisher Ribbon. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards up to 200 yards. Registration will be available online on race day ONLY beginning at 5:00 AM!

🌧️ Weather Policy

Races will be held rain or shine, however, severe weather may delay or cancel the race. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

🚫 Safety Rules

To ensure the safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course. All runners should stay alert throughout the race, remain within cones, and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start at the back.

🛒 Packet Pickup Information

Early Packet Pick-Up - TBD. Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at NeoCity beginning at 6:45 am. Please allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
