Rotary Club of Kissimmee West presents the Rise & Run 5K @ NEOCITY

Event Overview

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West “Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity” will take place in NeoCity in Kissimmee on October 17, 2026. This is the second annual 5K (3.1 miles) in NeoCity!

Community Impact

• Purpose: An opportunity for individuals or teams to make an impact on our community by helping the Rotary Club of Kissimmee West raise money for domestic violence survivors.
• Global Health: Eradicate and educate on ending Polio globally!
• Event Features: Refreshments, a silent auction, booths with a variety of businesses, including the NeoCity Academy volunteers.

Recognition and Award Categories

• Finishers Medal: Everyone who participates will receive a finishers medal.
• Awards: Recognition for the Top 10 Male and Female finishers.
• Team Awards: Titles for the Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited team, and Most Festive "Halloween" theme costume.
• Discount: Teams with five or more participants receive a discount.

Event Timeline

• 6:45 AM: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins.
• 9:00 AM: Awards.
• 9:15 AM: FREE Kids’ Dashes begin.

5K Fun Run/Walk Amenities

• Race Tee: 5K Run & Walk t-shirt!
• Finisher Medal: For all 5K Fun Run participants.
• Post-Race: Water and post-race snacks.
• Awards: For Top 10 Overall male + female finishers, as well as Team awards.

Registration Fees

Adults (13 & Older):

• $35.00: Through 10/10/26.
• $40.00: From 10/11/26 - 10/16/26 until 6 PM.
• $45.00: Day of the race (if not sold out).

Youth (12 & Under):

• $30.00: Through 10/10/26.
• $35.00: From 10/11/26 - 10/16/26 until 6 PM.
• $40.00: Day of the race (if not sold out).

Team Rate

*Team rate - $5.00 off each Registration if you register 5 or more at one time! Redemption of reduced rate is only valid when you register all individuals at one!

Race T-Shirts

All participants who register for the 5K event will receive a unisex RCKW Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity t-shirt with your entry. Sizes are guaranteed through October 1, 2026.

Finisher Medals

All PAID 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom RCKW Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity themed finisher medal. Children participating in the FREE Kid’s dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.

5K Fun Run Awards

Race awards will go to the top 10 overall adult male + female finishers only. Plus, we will also have Team awards for the Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited Team and Most Festive "Halloween" theme costume! This is a FUN RUN and we will only be manually recording the above Overall Award times. If you would like to see your finish time, there will be a clock at the finish line for everyone to see their finish times.

Free Kids Dashes

We will host a free kids’ dash following the 5K event. All children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. All children participating must be accompanied by an adult and will receive a Finisher Ribbon. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards up to 200 yards. Registration will be available online on race day ONLY beginning at 5:00 AM!

Weather Policy

Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Safety Rules

In order to ensure safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the racecourse. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

Strollers

Strollers are allowed. Nurturing future generations of runners/walkers is a priority and is demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our children. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller to line up behind the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on race day. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register them to participate in the Run/Walk.

Packet Pickup Information & Race Day Parking

Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at NeoCity beginning at 6:45 AM. However, please do allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
