Rotary Club of Kissimmee West presents the Rise & Run 5K @ NEOCITY

Event Overview

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West “Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity” will take place in NeoCity in Kissimmee on October 17, 2026. This is the second annual 5K (3.1 miles) in NeoCity!

Purpose and Benefits

• Impactful Event: This is an opportunity for individuals or teams to make an impact on our community.
• Fundraising: Help the Rotary Club of Kissimmee West raise money for domestic violence survivors.
• Awareness: Contribute towards eradicating Polio globally.
• Activities: Enjoy refreshments, a silent auction, booths with various businesses, including the NeoCity Academy volunteers, and more.

Awards and Incentives

• Finisher's Medal: Everyone who participates will receive a finisher's medal.
• Top Finishers: Recognition for the Top 10 Male and Female finishers.
• Team Awards: Awards for the Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited Team, and Service Above Self award.
• Team Discount: Receive a discount for teams of five or more participants.

Event Timeline

• 6:45am: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens.
• 8:00am: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins.
• 9:00am: Awards Ceremony.
• 9:15am: FREE Kids’ Dashes begin.

Race Amenities

• T-shirt: Race Tee 5K Run & Walk t-shirt for all participants.
• Finisher Medal: All 5K Fun Run participants receive a medal.
• Post-race Snacks: Water and snacks available after the race.
• Sponsor/Vendor Booths: Explore booths from local businesses.

Registration Fees

• Adults 13 & Older: $35.00 through 10/10/26.
• Adults Late Registration: $40.00 from 10/11/26 - 10/16/26 until 6pm.
• Day of Race: $45.00 (if not sold out).
• Youth 12 & Under: Fees $30 through 10/10/26, $35 from 10/11/26 - 10/16/26, $40 Day of the race.

Team Rate

*Team rate: $5.00 off each registration if you register 5 or more at one time! Redemption of reduced rate is only valid when you register all individuals at once.

*Race day registration payment will be accepted via credit card payments through RunSignup only!

Refund and Weather Policy

• Non-Refundable: All entry fees are non-refundable and race registrations are non-transferable.
• Rain or Shine: This is a rain or shine event.
• No Refunds: No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

T-Shirts

All participants will receive a unisex RCKW Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity t-shirt with entry. Sizes are guaranteed through October 1, 2026.

Finisher Medals

All paid 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom themed finisher medal. Children in the FREE Kid’s Dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.

5K Fun Run Awards

Awards will be given to the top 10 overall adult male and female finishers. Team awards will also be presented for Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited Team, and Service Above Self award.

FREE Kids Dashes

A free kids’ dash will follow the 5K event. All children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards to 200 yards. Registration will be available online on race day only, beginning at 5:00 AM!

Weather Policy

Races will be held rain or shine: however, if there is severe weather, the race start may be delayed or canceled.

Safety Rules

Roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited on the racecourse. Participants must stay alert, inside cones, and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

Strollers

Strollers are allowed: participants with strollers should line up behind other runners. Only paid registrants will receive a finisher medal. If you want your child to receive a medal, please register them for the Run/Walk.

Packet Pickup Information & Race Day Parking

Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at NeoCity from 6:45 AM. Please allow additional time for parking and packet pickup.

Parking: Available in the designated lot at 194 NeoCity Way, Kissimmee, FL. Follow parking signs to this location.
