The 5th Annual McLean Blue Jay Mile
This is a One Mile Race on the track for 6th graders and all other elementary age groups. We are adding an Open/Alumni Race for 7th graders and up. This is a race, run or walk for the whole family and also for any kids wanting to see how fast they can run a mile! Mc6 runners are competing to break the school record.
Competitive Mile Categories
- 6th graders: Compete against peers in their grade level.
- 3rd-5th graders: Join in the fun and test their speed.
- K-2nd Mini Mile: Runs 1-2 laps for younger participants.
- Open/Alumni Mile: Available for 7th grade and up.
Race Day Schedule
8:00 - 6th Grade Boys
8:15 - 6th Grade Girls
8:30 - 5th Boys and Girls
8:45 - 3rd and 4th Boys and Girls
9:00 - K-2nd Mini-Mile (2 laps)
9:15 - Open/Alumni Mile
*Race times are tentative, races might be combined or split depending on number of runners. If needed, Updated race times will be sent out prior to race day.
