Event Overview
- Unique 5K Event: Join us for our fifth attempt at a truly unique 5k event along the shore in Stratford.
- Sold Out: We sold out the last two years: this is a small and fun event, usually around 100 people.
- Rain or Shine: We go SHINE OR RAIN! We can’t postpone: we have one-day permits.
- Shirt Size Guarantee: Size guaranteed till 10/18.
Registration Details
- Limited Spots: This event is strictly limited to one hundred people.
- All Abilities Welcome: All abilities are welcome to run, walk, or stroll.
- Pets: Four-legged mammals on a leash are permitted, but you must bring your own poop bags.
- Registration Fee: $35 for 21 & over, just $25 for 20 & under!
Event Schedule
- 8:30 am: Bib/shirt/swag pickup starts.
- 9:45 am: Free Kids Dash, ages 9 & under.
- 10:00 am: HalloWine 5K run, walk, saunter - START.
- Post Event: Snacks, fluids, and fun with at least one free beer for everyone 21 & over.
Course Information
- Scenic Views: Enjoy 3.11 miles of scenic wonder with 80% direct water views.
- Start/Finish: The event starts and finishes at the same location overlooking Point no Point opposite the seawall.

- Old School Timing: This will be a pull tag timed race!
Awards and Swag
- Swag: First 100 participants will receive 'A Wine of a Kind' shirt and other surprise swag.
- Post-Run Refreshments: Enjoy two half-bottles of wine (one white, one red) and snacks.
- Awards: We may not have overall or age group awards but expect some fun surprises.
- Volunteer Support: Thanks to our amazing volunteer crew for making this event happen.
Important Notes
- Parking: Available in the LP lot, along the seawall, and on side streets.
- Respect Neighbors: Please don’t block driveways to keep our neighbors happy.
- Event Director: Marty Schaivone, owner of MS Running Productions, directs over 30 running events each year.
