Join us for our fourth attempt for a truly unique 5k event along the shore in Stratford.

• Important Note: Last year if you waited to register we were out of shirts and wine two days before!
• Act Fast: Otherwise we cannot promise you anything more than a free beer! Sorry!

☔ Event Rain or Shine

• Weather: We go SHINE OR RAIN FOLKS.
• Permits: We can’t postpone, we have one-day permits.
• Preparation: I ALREADY BOUGHT 200 BOTTLES OF VINO!

⚡ Limited Participants

• Capacity: This is strictly limited to one hundred people!
• All abilities: Welcome to run, walk, or stroll.
• Pets: Four-legged mammals on leash are permitted but you must bring your own poop bags.

🏠 Hosted by Little Pub

We are again Hosted by the Little Pub beautifully located in the Lordship section of Stratford. This late afternoon run/walk will feature terrific swag for the 21 & over participants. Under 21 can register and enjoy the event but will only receive a non-alcohol beverage.

🏃 Our Course

Our Course - 3.11 miles of scenic wonder! 80% direct water views, start/finish and post run fun overlooking Point no Point opposite the seawall.

🎉 Event Concept

This idea all started when we saw an advert for the “Trunk or Treat” hosted by the Little Pub for the little tykes in our neighborhood. Then we figured “Why not the big tykes?”. After we did some research it didn't take long to realize we could team up and create an opportunity for some casual fun.

👕 Unique Swag

So here is what we came up with:

• First 100 participants: ‘A Wine of a Kind’ shirt - might be short sleeve, might be LS, you never know & neither do we.
• Wine: TWO half-bottles of wine (one white, one red) - 21 & over only.
• Beer: ONE post-run glass of a Little Pub beer - 21 & over only.
• Snacks: Happy hour-appropriate snacks like pretzel bites, granola bars, bananas.

NOTE- Reg fee increases to $40 on 10/20

⏰ Schedule

The Little Pub will be open with food/drinks and non-alcohol beverages. Come on down early. Hang out, watch a game or relax on the seawall/beach area.

• 4:00 pm: Bib/shirt/swag pickup starts - NO SOONER!
• 4:45 pm: Free Kids Dash - just 150 yards or so, costumes encouraged, ages 9 & under please.
• 5:00 pm: HalloWine 5K run, walk, saunter - START.

Tentative post run/walk items include: snacks, fluids, fun! AT LEAST ONE FREE BEER FOR EVERYONE 21 & over.

🔍 Results & Awards

• Results: This is a 'timed' event and we will post results online. Thanks to Jim Gerweck our #1 timer of all things Lordship.
• Awards: With all that swag we may not have overall or age group awards- but you never know what we might come up with at the last minute!

⚠️ Registration Limit

REMEMBER THIS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED HUMANS. (Cute, well-behaved alternative mammals on leash are OK).

🤝 Community Support

Event Director - Marty Schaivone, owner of MS Running Productions is a Lordship resident. MSRP directs over 30 running events each year in Fairfield County. Many of them with crazy themes, especially the seven that Little Pub hosts.

🚗 Parking Information

Parking in the LP lot, along the seawall, & on side streets. Please don’t block driveways. We want our neighbors happy.
