Winter 2024/2025 Full & Half Marathon Training - Wendell

Winter 2024/2025 Full & Half Marathon Training in Wendell is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.

The class is 16 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a full or half marathon: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time.  All levels and paces are welcome!

The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 16 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training & strength training workouts, and optional Saturday group long runs. The coached group runs are in person, though this class can be done virtually when you miss: all info will be provided on the group run & route ahead of time so that trainees can run separately at another time if they need to.

Cost of the class is $85.  Deadline to register is 12/15.  No refunds or class credit if you drop the class after registering.

Cost includes: 16-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group run workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), training class shirt, in-class/virtual seminars on running-related topics, strength training plan, coach-led Saturday group long runs, 15% discount on merchandise (shirts, hats) at The Running PTs, and weekly tips and running information from your coach and The Running PTs to supplement your knowledge.

Program dates: November 24, 2024 - March 16, 2025; (no classes on 11/28, 12/24, & 12/26 due to holidays).  Group training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30AM-6:30AM, and there are group long runs with all fall adult classes on Saturdays at 7:30AM-9:30AM.  The class will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Pace Yourself Run Company (8 East 3rd Street, Wendell, NC 27591).   Saturday run locations vary weekly and rotate throughout the Triangle area.
