Spring Equinox 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🌸 Event Overview

ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.

It's time for our Spring Equinox 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!

🕖 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone.
• Start: 7:30AM.
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45AM.
• Email for Early Start: abetterworldrunning@gmail.com.

📍 Event Location

Address: Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.).

Note: Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.

🚻 Preparation and Facilities

• Carpooling: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
• Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
• Water and Fountains: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
• Free Photos: Free pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event.

🏃 Course Details

• 5k: Out and back route - View Route.
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops.
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops.
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - View Route.

🏅 Finisher Medals and Results

• Finishers: All finishers get a medal.
• Results: All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event.
• Goodie Bags: Everyone will get a medal as well as a goodie bag.
• Facebook Photos: Free photos are posted on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
