Kickoff the 2025-26 school year in healthy fashion with this family friendly 5K!

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
• Time: Packet Pickup at 7:30am and Race at 9:00am
• Location: Fayette County Schools Administrative Offices, Northwest Lexington
• Registration: All are encouraged to register online in advance of the race. We will not be taking cash or checks at the race.

• Course: Unique paved course looping through the LexMark International campus
• T-Shirts: Commemorative unisex sized T-shirts (Adult and Youth sizes)
• Events: 5K Run/Walk (timed), 1 Mile Fun Walk (untimed)
• Awards: Overall Top 3 M/F and Top 3 M/F in various age group categories
• Team Competition: Form a SUPER SCHOOL TEAM and if you have 10 or more on your team you may win a prize!
• Photography: Free Race Photos
• Entertainment: DJ Playing Great Music
• Community: Food, Fun & Fellowship for a great cause

• 7:30AM: Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration Opens
• 8:40AM: Welcome & Race Announcements
• 8:45AM: Warm-up Dale Robinson, GURU
• 9:00AM: Run For A Cause 5K START
• 9:02AM: 1 Mile Fun Walk start
• 10:00AM: Awards Ceremony (Overall, Age Group and Team Awards)

Our packet pickup plans will be announced closer to the race date. We will definitely have race morning Packet Pickup from 7:30-8:45 am leading up to the race start.
