Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk

🍀 Race Overview

• Event: A Cocoa Beach 5K road race for runners and walkers through residential Cocoa Isles.
• Kids Fun Run: Free Kids Fun Runs of approximately 1/4 mile.

💚 Beneficiary

• Proceeds: Donations benefit Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School's Project Graduation, a safe, alcohol-free post-graduation event for our graduating seniors.

🏆 Awards & Fun

• Finisher Medal: Custom Finisher Medal to all participants!
• Shirts: All pre-registered runners will receive a Unisex Short Sleeve Lucky Leprechaun shirt!
• Awards: Awards for overall winners as well as age group winners!
• Post-race Activities: Enjoy post-race GREEN BEER (one free beer for those 21), food, Irish music, and fun activities for our little leprechauns!

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Location: Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness on Friday, March 7th, from 4-8 pm, 1355 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach.
• Race Day: Saturday, March 8, from 6:30-7:30 am.

• Top 3 Overall: Male & Female
• Top Masters: Top Female and Male Masters (40+)
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards.
• Age Groups: Include 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

⏱️ Timing & Scoring

• Chip-timed: This is a chip-timed event where all participants receive a chip that is attached to the back of the bib.
• Importance: It's very important that you wear your bib.

📊 Quick Facts

• Course Length: 5K is 3.1 miles. The course starts and ends at Johnathan's Pub.
• Timing Method: There will be a clock and all participants will have a chip attached to the back of the bib number.
• Refund Policy: We appreciate your race registration. As the race brochure states, we are unable to issue refunds. You can run the race virtually.
• Weather Policy: The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
