Volunteer Opportunities

• Support Needed: We are looking for volunteers to help with parking, race-coursing, and cheering on participants.

Race Overview

• Courses: 5K (3.1 Miles) and 10K (6.2 Miles), with a mix of paths for runners, walkers, and rollers.
• 10K Requirements: Participants must maintain a pace faster than 17 minutes per mile.
• Community Event: Aimed at celebrating health and fitness within the community.
• Date: Join us on May 2, 2026!

Registration Details

• Participant Limit: 550 max participants – register early!
• Registration Fees: $35 (Nov 1 - Dec 31), $40 (Jan 1 - Mar 31).
• Tots/Kids Dash: $15 (Nov 1 - Dec 31), $20 (Jan 1 - Mar 31).
• Note: Kids in the Tots/Kids Dash won't receive timing chips unless they are registered for the 5K.
• Deadline: Online registration closes March 31. No late registrations on race day.

Event Schedule

• Friday, May 1: Packet pick-up from 2-7 PM at Burke Lake Park Ice Cream Parlor.
• Saturday, May 2: Park opens at 6:20 AM. Do not park in the Shelter A lot.
• Race Day Timeline: Packet pick-up starts at 6:30 AM: Kids Dash at 7:40 AM.
• Finish and Awards: Awards ceremony at the end of the event for top finishers.

Awards and SWAG

• Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a commemorative medal.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 overall male and female finishers in 5K and 10K.
• Age Categories: Awards for additional age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Weather Policy

This is a rain-or-shine event. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable, including in the event of inclement weather.

Parking Information

• Road Closures: Park roads close at 7:30 AM: plan to arrive early.
• Drop-Off: ADA accessible drop-off available: notify staff in advance.
• Parking Restrictions: No parking in Shelter A: staff will direct to available lots.

Timing and Results

The race will be professionally timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Results will be available immediately after the race at www.prraces.com.

Charity Involvement
