This triathlon is designed for a whole day of fun for racers, friends, and families!
🏊 Event Types
- Triathlon: Various distances available for all levels.
- Duathlon: A combination of running and biking.
- Aquabike: Swim and bike without the run.
- 5K: A shorter distance for quick participants.
🌊 Race Details
After several years, the CVC is back! This race is known for its warm water calm bay swim in the San Diego Bay and flat bike and run courses. The CVC has a race and distance for all levels of triathletes from beginner to pro, and from youth to age 100. Come enjoy the day and be cheered on by fellow racers, friends, and family. After the race enjoy the beer and Margarita garden on the water. All participants receive a race shirt and a finishers medal.

🏆 Triple Crown Challenge
This is the second race in the Triple Crown. Complete the Spring Sprint Triathlon, this event, and the Mission Bay Triathlon, to receive the Triple Crown Award.
🚧 Construction Updates
Having been shut down due to construction in the area, we are finally allowed to do a triathlon in the same area. However, there is still construction, so the routes and venue have changed for this year at least. We will have offsite parking, shuttles, and athlete drop-off zones to make life easier. - International Triathlon: 1,000 m swim, 38K bike, 10K run (Ages 13 & over)
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 m swim, 19K bike, 5K run (Ages 13 & over)
- Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 19K bike, 5K run (Ages 13 & over)
- Sprint Aquabike: 500 m swim, 19K bike (Ages 13 & over)
- Mini Triathlon: 200 m swim, 9K bike, 1.5 mile run (Ages 11 & over)
- Itsy Bitsy Triathlon: 100 m swim, 4K bike, 0.75 mile run (Kids 7-10)
