16th Annual Upton VFW Run to Remember 5K

🏅 Event Overview

RUN TO REMEMBER A VETERAN!!! Our race honors all Active, Reserve, and Guard members and veterans who served our country in the past. Each participant is encouraged to wear the name of a veteran they wish to honor. If you don’t have your “own” veteran, we’ll provide you with a veteran’s name. A great way to show support!

📅 Date & Time

• Date: October 4th, 2025
• Location: 15 Milford Street (Rt 140), Upton, MA
• Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Registration: Early registration is $25, day-of registration is $30.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Course: 5K run is a fast start, mostly flat course, 100% roads. Walkers and joggers with strollers welcome - must start behind runners. No pets please. Course Map Link
• Awards: Top three men and women overall. Male and female age division awards for age brackets: 12 and under: 13-15: 16-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70+. Awards to 1,2,3rd place M/F Veteran and 1st Teacher, Firefighter & Police Officer.
• Amenities: T-shirts available for purchase. Water and toilets at check-in. Water at half-way point of race. Refreshments at finish.
• Times: 5K Race day registration from 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM at VFW. Race starts at 9 AM Sharp! 5K Bibs & Shirts can be picked up on Friday 10/3 from 4-7 PM. 5K Day of race registration price is $30. 5K Race start time: 9 AM (Rain or Shine).

👦 Kid's Fun Run

• Age: For children 10 and under, there will be a Kids Fun Run held on the baseball field behind the VFW after the official 5K race.
• Distance: Varies according to age.
• Start Time: Children's Run starts at 9:45 AM. Registration on-site from 8 AM until 9:30 AM.
• Cost: Children's Run Cost is $7.00 and every kid gets a medal!
