EVENT PURPOSE

• Memorial: This race is a living memorial to the “Worcester Six” – Paul Brotherton, Jerry Lucey, Tim Jackson, Tom Spencer, Jay Lyons, and Joe McGuirk.
• Tribute: Honoring three other brave members who died in the Line of Duty: Jon Davies (2011), Chris Roy (2018), and Jason Menard (2019).
• Community: Aimed at remembering their dedication to the City of Worcester.
• Environment: It creates a block party atmosphere with a BBQ inside Institute Park.

EVENT DETAILS

• Races: Includes a 6k run, 3K walk, and a Kids 1K for children under 12.
• Family Friendly: Aimed to kick off the summer season.
• Join Us: Invite family and friends to join the fun on June 7th, 2026!
• Start Times: 11am Kids 1K Fun Run // 11:30 6K Run/Walk + 3K Walk

RACE INFORMATION

• Start Location: Institute Park, Salisbury St, Worcester, MA
• Chip Timing: All participants in the 6K and 3K Walk will be chip-timed.
• Online Entry Fees: Registration closes at 7pm on Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
• Refund Policy: No refunds are offered.

• Additional Information: No pets are allowed. If running or walking with a stroller, please start in the back for safety.
