Boone Brave Run

Event Overview

The Boone High School Athletic Association proudly presents the 18th Annual 5K Brave Run on February 21, 2026.

• Location: 1000 E. Kaley St., Orlando, FL
• Details: Join us in celebrating the 18th year of this Boone High School community event. Everyone is welcome - students, alumni, families - runners and walkers!
• Route: The race begins in the Boone stadium and the route will take you down tree lined streets and through the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding Boone (Delaney Park, Lake Davis and Cherokee Park).
• Participation: Register individually or join as your own fun group. Medals will be awarded for the top 3 finishing female & male students. If you can't attend or aren't local, you can still support your favorite Boone team or club by joining virtually.

Check In: 6:30am | Youth Race: 7:45am | Race Start: 8:00am

Registration Fees

• $10: Student Registration 6-13yrs
• $30: Student Registration 14-19yrs
• $40: Adult Registration 20+ yrs
• FREE: Ages 6 and under

Donation Information

• Funding: For ages 14 and up, 50% of registration fees can be designated to go to the Boone athletic team or club of your choice.
• Use of Funds: The remaining 50% cover race costs and assist with Boone athletic facility improvements and team needs.

Spirit Awards

Boone teams/clubs are eligible to receive prize monies of $500, $250 and $150 based on the number of registrations designated to their team.

• Dates: Thursday, 2/19 & Friday, 2/20
• Times: 7:00-8:30am
• Times: 11:00-12:30pm
• Times: 2:00-3:30pm

Thursday, 2/19 at Johnny's Other Side from 5:30 until 7pm.

Race Day Parking

• Location: Student lot off Mills Avenue
• Location: Faculty lot off Summerlin Avenue - this lot will close at 7:30am
