Ed's Hurricane Hustle

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join Ed Piotrowski, Coastal Carolina University, Teal Nation, and Apex Promoz to kick off hurricane season in the Carolinas with a one of a kind 5K and 1 Mile race experience. This race is going to be the most exciting and entertaining running event in Horry County in 2025 and will be live streamed by WPDE! This is going to be the event of the summer and we want all of you to join us!

Important Note: CCU will be replacing the turf in the football stadium, which is exciting! But we had to create an alternative start/finish at Blanton Park.

Charity Partner: FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at Coastal Carolina University is proud to partner with Apex Promoz, Coastal Carolina and WPDE as the Official charity of the 3rd Annual Ed's Hurricane Hustle 2025.

🏆 Awards

Race awards will be given in the following categories for the 5K.

• Overall: Male & Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Based on gun time)
• Age Division Structure: (Age group awards are based on chip time)
• Divisions: 0 to 10 | 11 to 15 | 16 to 20 | 21 to 25 | 26 to 30 | 31 to 35 | 36 to 40 | 41 to 45 | 46 to 50 | 51 to 55 | 56 to 60 | 61 to 65 | 66 to 70 | 71 to 75 | 75+

🚗 Parking

Parking will be available at all Coastal Carolina University parking lots. A map will be emailed out closer to the race date with preferred parking lots.

📦 Packet Pick-Up/Late Registrations

• Thursday, June 12th: 4:00pm-7:00pm at Black Dog Running Company, 1600 Farrow Pkwy Unit B-1, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
• Friday, June 13th: 4:00pm-7:00pm at Coastal Carolina University, Blanton Park
• Saturday June 14th: 6:30am-7:45am at Coastal Carolina University, Blanton Park
