February Freeze 5K - Pigeon Forge

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The American Cancer Society proudly presents the 8th annual February Freeze 5K Timed Run and 1 Mile Walk on the Holiday Lighted River Walk in Pigeon Forge.

Come join the fun and excitement of the February Freeze 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN and travels along the RiverWalk and holiday Winterfest lights. Facilitated by the Sevier County Relay for Life Teams, all proceeds of the February Freeze 5K Run/Walk go to the American Cancer Society.

• Time: 6:00 PM
• Registration: 4:00 PM - 5:45 PM
• Location: 131 The Island Drive, Pigeon Forge, TN

💰 Cost and Cause

• Pre-registration: $25 for adults, $20 for Students K-12
• Race day registration: $5 more for each
• Benefit: All money raised goes to the Sevier County Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society.
• Purpose: Join us for a great cause!

📝 Registration

• Online: Register for the race online at runsignup.com.
• Race Day Registration: Register from 4:00 - 5:45 PM at the Margaritaville Hotel. (Day of registration is not guaranteed a shirt and bag)
• Results: Available via the Terra Running Company.
• T-Shirts: Register prior to January 30 to receive an official shirt. Late registrations will receive shirts while supplies last.

👕 T-Shirts & Pick Up

T-shirts and bibs will be available for pick-up on Friday, Feb 6 at the Margaritaville Hotel from 4 PM to 7 PM. On race day, shirts and bags will be distributed at the end of the race to avoid carrying items during the event. Early check-in is recommended if you want your items before the event.

🏆 Awards

The Top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards, along with classification awards given to top 3 in age groups for both male and female.

Refreshments

Refreshments will be available after the race.

🚫 Race Day Etiquette

Due to our insurance policy, no rollerblades or bicycles will be allowed in the race.

🔄 Refund Policy

The February Freeze has a NO REFUND policy. Insurance is available during registration. Please consider this option if you wish to insure your entry fees. Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

⚠️ Event Cancellation / Modification Policy

• Safety First: Decisions based on safety will be made in concert with local officials.
• Course Alteration: Courses may be altered as agreed upon with local officials.
• Financial Responsibility: Each participant accepts the risk of their entry fee: there will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races.
• Event Costs: All supplies and services must be paid for in advance, regardless of event outcome.

👕 Event Shirts

Event shirts are NOT guaranteed for those registering within one week of the event. Please register beforehand to ensure your preferred shirt size.
