February Freeze 5K - Pigeon Forge

Race Overview

The American Cancer Society proudly presents the 8th annual February Freeze 5K Timed Run and 1 Mile Walk on the Holiday Lighted River Walk in Pigeon Forge.

Come join the fun and excitement of the February Freeze 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN and travels along the RiverWalk and holiday Winterfest lights. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Where and When

• Date & Time: The February Freeze 5K Run/Walk begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 7.
• Location: 131 The Island Drive, Pigeon Forge, TN.
• Registration: From 4:00 PM-5:45 PM.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, February 6 from 4-7 PM at the Margaritaville Hotel at the Island.

Cost and Cause

• Pre-registration: $25 for adults and $20 for Students K-12.
• Race Day Registration: $5 more for each category.
• Beneficiary: All money raised goes to the Sevier County Relay for Life which benefits the American Cancer Society.
• Great Cause: Join us to support a valuable mission!

Registration

• Online: Register for the race online at runsignup.com.
• Race Day Registration: Register the day of the race from 4:00 - 5:45 PM at the Margaritaville Hotel.
• Shirt & Bag: Day of registration is not guaranteed a shirt and bag.
• Results: Race results will be available via the Terra Running Company.

T-Shirts

• Early Registration: Runners and Walkers registering prior to January 30 will receive the official February Freeze 5K t-shirt.
• Post January 30 Registration: A t-shirt will be provided while supplies last.
• Pickup: T-shirts & bibs available for pickup on Friday, Feb 6 at the Margaritaville Hotel from 4 PM-7 PM.
• Distribution: Shirts and bags will be given out at the end of the race instead of at check-in.

Awards

• Overall Awards: The Top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards.
• Classification Awards: Awards given to top 3 in age groups for male and female.

Refreshments

• Post-Race: Refreshments will be available after the race.

Race Day Etiquette

• Policy: No rollerblades or bicycles will be allowed in the race due to insurance policy.

Refund Policy

• No Refunds: February Freeze has a NO REFUND policy.
• Transfer Policy: Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

Event Cancellation / Modification Policy

• Safety First: Decisions will be made in concert with local officials based on safety.
• Course Modifications: Courses and/or race segments may be altered.
• Financial Responsibility: There will be NO REFUNDS due to disasters beyond control.
• Preparation Costs: All supplies and services must be paid for regardless of the outcome.

Event Shirts

• Shirt Guarantee: Event shirts are NOT guaranteed to participants registering within 1 week of each event.
• Registration: Register prior to 1 week to guarantee your race shirt size.
