♻️ Celebrate Earth Day
- Recycle Event: The Reckon Run celebrates Earth Day by recycling past medals and shirts from previous Sommer Sports Events into a new event.
- Selection: Athletes can select their shirt and medal from dozens of previously held events.
- Race Options: Both the 5 Mile and 2 Mile run/walks are out and back along the lake on the South Lake Trail.
- Challenge: Challenge yourself to the Lake Minneola 7 Mile Challenge and run both the 2 mile and 5 mile events, earning yourself two shirts and three medals.
🎖️ Recycling Past Swag
- Medal and Shirt Collection: After 41 years and hundreds of races, Sommer Sports has accumulated a mountain of leftover medals, shirts, and awards.
- Reduced Fees: To celebrate Earth Day, entry fees for the event have been reduced!
- Shirt Selection: Recycle Run participants can select their race shirt from more than a dozen different events, and their race medal from dozens more.
- Awards: Recycled awards from previous races will be awarded for both the 2 Mile and 5 Mile events.
