GCA Charge Ahead 5K and Relay/Ruck

Event Overview

Join us for this fun family event to benefit the future of Grace Christian Academy! This 5K run/walk will be like no other as you make your way around the .62 loop course for 5 laps (3.1 miles). Run solo, with friends/family, or carrying extra weight, all while a party is going on around you! This is an event for ALL types of participants: the seasoned runner, the healthy walker, the first timer, the cross fitter, the competitive family- WE'VE GOT YOU!

Event Options

5K (Solo)

• Pre-registration fee: $30
• Race day registration fee: $35
• Race format: Participants will complete 5 (.62 loops) for 3.1 miles solo.

5K (2-5 Person Relay)

• Pre-registration fee: $25 per person
• Race day registration fee: $30 per person
• Race format: Your team will complete 5 laps (.62) for a total of 3.1 with any lap combination.
• Team requirement: Create a fun team name and invite others to join your team! (2 person minimum)

5K (Ruck)

• Pre-registration fee: $30
• Race day registration fee: $35
• Race format: Participants will complete 5 (.62 loops) for 3.1 miles solo while wearing a weighted vest.

Participants' Perks

All participants will receive a t-shirt, swag bag, and a fun race experience!

Note: Participants must be registered by April 11th to guarantee a t-shirt!

Awards

5K Solo

• Overall winners: Male and Female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd - Provided by FLEET FEET BURLINGTON
• Age group awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K Relay

• Team awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Team

5K Ruck

• Overall winners: 1st overall Male and Female

• Thursday, April 23rd: Fleet Feet Burlington, 4-6pm - 3816 Rural Retreat Rd. Burlington, NC
• Friday, April 24th: Grace Christian Academy Main Lobby, 3-4:30 - 415 Roxboro Rd., Haw River, NC
• Race Day Saturday, April 25th: 7-8AM - Packet Pickup/Late Registration - The Lamb's Chapel, Airport Campus - 3539 Alamance Rd. Burlington
