The Presidio Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K Fun Run & Walk isn't just about the breathtaking views of the Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge—it’s about making a real impact. Hosted by The Guardsmen, this race raises crucial funds to support underserved youth, providing them with life-changing outdoor experiences and educational opportunities.

Purpose: Your participation directly helps Bay Area kids who need it most.
Finish Line Celebration: Celebrate with a well-earned pancake breakfast, drinks, and a lively post-race expo.
Participation: Chase a personal best or enjoy a scenic stroll.

What time do the races start?
- 8:00 am - Half Marathon
- 8:30 am - 10 K
- 9:00 am - 5 K
Is there a bag check? Yes, the bag check is at Cristy Fields and opens at 6:00 AM.
Are strollers and/or dogs allowed in the race? Strollers and dogs are allowed in the 5K fun run/race only.
Where and when do I pick up my bib?
- Saturday: Sports Basement 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Crissy Fields 6:00 AM - 7:45 AM
Can I help fundraise? Absolutely! Please sign up here.
How do I get there and where do I park?
- Rideshare: Rideshare to the race is encouraged! Uber, Lyft or Taxi.
- Parking: Park in the East Beach Parking Lot or the Marina Green Parking Lot and walk to the Start/Finish area. Public transportation encouraged!
What is the refund policy? How can I transfer my registration? Registrations are non-refundable, but you may transfer to a friend on Eventbrite.
May I change my running distance? Yes, please transfer to the other registration type in Eventbrite.
Who are The Guardsmen? Why is this a benefit? Since 1947, The Guardsmen have sent more than 2,500 underserved youth to camp and provided scholarships for more than 250 students.
What is The Guardsmen's IRS status and the Fair Market Value of the event? The Guardsmen is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation under tax ID# 94-1196194.
