About Berry Dairy Days
- Origin: Although it started as the “Strawberry Festival”, Berry Dairy Days has been a consistent part of the community for the past 88 years!
- Purpose: Berry Dairy Days continues to celebrate Burlington’s history, agriculture, farming, traditions and community.
- History: The first annual “Berry Dairy Days” was launched in 1937 as a fundraiser organized by Burlington volunteer firefighters.
- Tradition: In 1965, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce took over to continue the festival, re-naming it to reflect the dairy business and strawberry farming.
Festival Highlights
- Celebration: Now co-hosted by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the City of Burlington, the festival is one of the oldest in Skagit County.
