Be a Hero at Heart Well Homestead’s Superhero Strides 5K!
Get ready to run, walk, and make a difference! Superhero Strides 5K is your chance to lace up, suit up, and support homeless pregnant and parenting mothers in our community. Join us on June 7 at Rulf’s Orchard (531 Bear Swamp Rd, Peru, NY) for a fun-filled race through the beautiful countryside—all while raising vital funds for Heart Well Homestead, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing safe housing and essential support for homeless mothers and their children in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties.
Who Can Participate
- All Skill Levels: Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual walker, this event is for you!
- Costumes Encouraged: Superhero costumes are encouraged to add to the fun!
- Family Friendly: A great time with family and friends is guaranteed!
Event Schedule
- 10:00 AM: Registration Opens
- 10:30 AM: Kids 1K Fun Run
- 11:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk Begins
What to Expect
- Prizes: Awards for race winners and best costumes.
- T-Shirts: Commemorative t-shirts for all runners.
- Food: Delicious food from Adirondack Food Therapy.
- Activities: Face painting, family-friendly activities & more!
Race Fees
- Runners: $30 each ($35 on race day).
- Kids 12 & Under: FREE!
