🌞 Race Overview
ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.
🕖 Event Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM
- Early Start: Option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for an early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
📍 Race Location
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🏅 Event Details
- Custom Medals: for all finishers!
- Goodie Bags: Every participant receives goodie bags!
- Free Photos: Photos will be posted on our Facebook page after the event!
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
🏃♂️ Course Information
- 5k: Out and back route link
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop link
👶 Additional Information
Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for an early start.

- Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
