Event Overview

Join us for the Strides for Inclusion 5K Run-Walk-Roll presented by Babcock Ranch on May 16, 2026, at 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL. This event is dedicated to serving individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, schizophrenia, polio, and other diagnosed and undiagnosed disabilities.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for these individuals to reach their full potential by fostering personal growth, independence, and community integration for all individuals, enabling them to thrive and lead fulfilling lives. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to thrive, and we are committed to making that a reality for those we serve.

Awards

• Overall M/F: Awards for top overall male and female.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd M/F in the following Age Groups:
• Age Groups: 0-9, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Registration Details

• Shirt Cutoff: Register by April 1st to guarantee your shirt. Shirts are NOT guaranteed after this date.
• Age-based Pricing: 18 years old and under registration price is ONLY $15.00.
• Discounts: Local running club discounts are available.

Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: TBD
• Race Day Packet Pickup: TBD
• Race Day Registration: 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM, please bring a credit card or use Apple Pay to register. Registration is co-located with packet pickup.
