Save the Manatee 5K

Race Overview

• Event: 22nd Annual Save the Manatee 5K
• Date: November 15, 2025
• Time: 8 a.m. ET
• Location: Blue Spring State Park, Orange City, FL

Race Description

• Goal: Help save the manatees while enjoying a scenic run.
• Course: Flat, along the Spring-to-Spring Trail adjacent to the park.
• Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive awards.
• Familial Fun: This is a family- and dog-friendly event.

Registration Options

• In-person: Includes park admission, T-shirt, finisher medal, and race bib.
• Virtual: Participate from anywhere: choose your activity and distance.
• Virtual Registration: Includes postage, T-shirt, finisher medal, and race bib.
• Manatee Season: Kick-off day for manatees in Florida!

Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Save the Manatee Club’s headquarters in Longwood, FL.
• Dates: November 10 – 14, from noon – 4 p.m.
• Race Day: Starts at 6:30 a.m. at Blue Spring State Park.

Event Schedule

• 6:30 a.m. - Packet Pick-Up & Registration Opens
• 8:00 a.m. - Race Starts

Finisher Medal

• Custom Medals: Provided to the first 500 registered.

Kids

• Free Gift: Kids 12 and under could receive a free stuffed manatee (in-person only).

Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 overall male and female.

Parking

• Location: Inside Blue Spring State Park.
• Admission: Included in the registration fee.

Proceeds

• Support: Proceeds will aid the Save the Manatee Club.

Timing & Scoring

• Timing Method: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip.
• Chip Location: Attached to the back of the bib.
