Save the Manatee 5K

🌊 Event Overview

• Event Name: 22nd Annual Save the Manatee 5K
• Date: Saturday, November 15th, 2025
• Location: Blue Spring State Park, Orange City, FL
• Start Time: 8 a.m. ET

🐾 Race Details

• In-Person Participation: Join participants from around the world helping manatees.
• Course: Scenic, flat Spring-to-Spring Trail adjacent to the park.
• Family-Friendly: Runners and walkers of all paces and ages are welcome.
• Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive awards.

🏆 Virtual Participation

• Option: Participate virtually from anywhere in the world.
• Activity: Choose your activity and distance (run, walk, bike, swim, kayak, scuba, or hike).
• In-Person Registration Includes: T-shirt, Finisher Medal, and Race Bib.
• Virtual Registration Includes: Postage, T-shirt, Finisher Medal, and Race Bib.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Save the Manatee Club’s headquarters in Longwood, FL.
• Dates: November 10th – 14th from noon – 4 p.m.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available starting at 6:30 a.m. at Blue Spring State Park.
• What to Bring: Bring your registration confirmation for easy access.

🗓️ Event Schedule

• 6:30 a.m.: Packet Pickup & Registration Opens
• 8:00 a.m.: Race Starts

🥇 Finisher Medal

• Availability: Custom Finisher Medals for the first 500 registered.
• Amazing Design: Unique design based on the event theme.

👶 Kids

• Age Group: 12 and under will receive a free stuffed manatee (in-person only).

🏅 Awards

• Categories: Top 3 overall male and female will receive awards.
• Recognition: Celebrate the achievements with medals.

🚗 Parking

• Location: Parking will be inside Blue Spring State Park.
• Included: Park admission is included in the registration fee.

💰 Proceeds

• Purpose: Proceeds support Save the Manatee Club.
• Contribution: Help with efforts to protect manatees.

⏱️ Timing & Scoring

• Method: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip.
• Placement: Chip will be attached to the back of the bib.
