🎵 About Beats for a Cure

• Organization: Beats for a Cure is a non-profit organization that uses music to raise funds to fight various types of cancers.
• Focus: Initially aimed at aiding breast cancer research and support, now also assists with prostate, multiple myeloma, and childhood cancer.
• Beneficiary: Funds raised will go to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children Hospital.

• Registration: 7am
• Race Start: 5K & 1M at 8:30am
• Awards: 10am

🏁 Race Divisions

• Age Groups: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

📏 Distances

• 5K: Run/Walk
• 1M: Run/Walk

⏱️ Timing

• 5K: Chip timing
• 1M: Untimed

📝 Registration

• Location: Race-day registration/packet pickup begins at 7am across from the Ticket Plaza inside the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
• Mail-in Registration: Make checks payable to "Hermes Sports and Events." Must be received by Thursday, July 31.
• Mail To: Hermes Sports and Events, 2425 W. 11th St. Suite 2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.

💲 Fees

• Pre-Registration: $45 (over 18), $35 (18 and under)
• Race Day Registration: $50 (over 18), $40 (18 and under)
• Virtual Run: $50
• Spectator: $12 (includes zoo access)

🏃‍♀️ Virtual Run

• Participation: Complete the 5K or 1 mile walk on your own.
• Results: Deadline to submit times is Sunday, September 7.
• Mailing of Shirt: Prior to race week if registered by April 12.
• Encouragement: Wear your shirt and take photographs of your virtual run/walk.

• Policy: All entries are non-refundable. Entry fees are not transferable.
