🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: We look forward to welcoming you to our 22nd annual Potomac River Run Marathon & Half.
• Participation: We welcome all runners and walkers, and we also welcome sponsors (see www.safetyandhealthfoundation.org/marathon/sponsor.pdf).

📅 Events Schedule

• May 1: 2:00 PM-6:45 PM, packet assembly and early-bird packet pick-up at ACE Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Institute, 2841 Hartland Road #401, Falls Church VA.
• May 2: 12 noon to 5:45 PM packet pick-up at Pacers Running Store, 3100 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington VA.
• May 2: 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM pre-race dinner at Big Tony's Pizzeria with guest speaker Dr. Ben Pearl, DPM.
• May 3: On-site packet pickup at Fletcher's Cove, 4940 Canal Road NW, Washington DC, followed by marathon starts at 8:00 AM and half marathon at 9:00 AM.

🌅 Course Information

• Course Type: Flat, scenic, and beautiful views of the Potomac River, out'n'back, starting and finishing at Fletcher's Cove.
• Certification: USATF certified course.
• Elevation: Highest point is 44m, lowest point is 12m above sea level. The race course is 99% crushed gravel.
• Facilities: Aid stations will close down as the last runner approaches.

🚗 Parking and Transportation

• Parking Limitation: Parking is limited at Fletcher's Cove, and off-site parking is encouraged.
• Off-Site Options: Consider parking at The River School entrance, W Street area, or Palisades Library.
• Taxi Service: Round-trip Red Top Cab rides are available for $10 from Crystal City Marriott to Fletcher's Cove.
• Ride Registration: Please register for taxi service AT LEAST TWO DAYS in advance.
