🌿 Event Overview
- Family-Friendly: Brevard Zoo's Wild Watermelon 3k is a great way to kick off your summer!
- Course: Runners and walkers will traverse a course through the Zoo passing animals, their habitats, and native plants.
- Cut-off: There is a one hour cut off for all runners. You will be escorted off the course if you do not finish by 8:30 a.m.
- Water Station: A water/Gatorade station is available along the route and at the start/finish areas.
🍉 Post-Race Celebration
- Watermelon Feast: Enjoy a post-race watermelon feast with slices of fresh, chilled watermelon courtesy of our presenting partner, the Florida Watermelon Association!
- Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 overall male and female finishers.
- Finisher Medals: ALL finishers will receive a beautiful watermelon-themed medal and commemorative running hat.
- Race Shirts: Available for purchase for $20 each online prior to the event.
