Festival of PAWS 5k and 1 mile Fun Run

🐾 Event Description

• Date: Saturday May 3rd 2025
• Family-friendly: Bring the whole family including your four-legged loved ones, out to support Paws of Muskingum County.
• Race Options: Choose the 5k timed run or the family friendly 1 mile untimed fun run/walk.
• Encouragement: Runners, walkers and four legged best friends of all skill levels are welcome. Small doggie strollers, costumes and best dressed attire also welcome and encouraged.
• Support: All proceeds raised at this event will support the building fund for our future spay neuter clinic.

🏃‍♂️ Race Course

• Starting Point: Participants will start at the Rogge Pavilion, behind OUZ / Zane State.
• Scenic Route: Enjoy the tree lined Collegial Woods jogging trail and the beauty of the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State Campus.

• Date: Saturday May 3rd, 2025
• Location: OUZ / Zane State Campus, 1555 Newark Rd Zanesville, OH
• Start Time: Race starts at 12:00pm.

📝 Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration

• Pickup Time: Packet Pickup and Race Day of race registration begins at 11:00am.
• Location: Rogge Pavilion.

🏆 Awards

• 5k Awards: Awards will be issued to the top one Male and Female overall finishers and medals will be awarded to the top one male and female finishers in age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Participant Medals: All Participants will receive a finishers Medallion.
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Will not be eligible for Overall or Age group awards. No T-Shirts will be available for the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk.
• Family Pricing: Family based pricing available.

🍏 Finish Line Perks

• Treats: Finish line snacks, beverages, and dog treats will be available at the conclusion of the race.

💰 Entry Fees

• 5k: Pre-registration $25.00 / Day of race registration $30.00. All 5k participants registered by April 18th are guaranteed a Race T-shirt. Extra T-shirts will be first come first serve on race day.
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Pre-registration $10.00 / $20 for Families of 3+ / Day of race registration $10.00 for all.
