3rd Annual Hot Dog Mile

🌭 Welcome to the Hot Dog Mile!

It’s like a beer mile, but with hot dogs! 4 hot dogs, 4 quarter mile laps, hopefully no puking and some beers at the end. A great hang-out to support dogs, eat hot dogs, have some beers and enjoy a lovely Sunday at Eastern Market Brewing Co!

🐕 Event Overview

• Date: June 1, 2025
• Location: 2515 Riopelle, Detroit, MI
• Proceeds: All proceeds after race costs are donated to Detroit Dog Rescue!
• Timing: The race/hot dog celebration runs from 11-2, with three waves starts every 45 minutes.

🍺 Race Format

The Hot Dog Mile is an annual event celebrating hot dogs and regular dogs, dreamed up by the runners of Eastern Market Brewing Run Club. Participants eat four dogs and run four 1/4 mile laps- it’s as simple as that!

🌭 Food and Fun

• Hot Dogs: Motor City Frank’s hot dogs will also be on site for spectators to grab a dog while they watch!
• Raffle: Raffle tickets are included with both racer and spectator ticket packages, and additional tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
• Optional Swag: Includes race sticker, race t-shirt and new this year- race day mugs! Purchase your hot dog mile mug and receive $1 off beer pours during the event!
• New Merchandise: We’ve got hats! Check it out! Make your friends, co-workers, grandparents, newborns etc. jealous with this sick neon green trucker hat!
