🦃 Welcome to the Turkey Trot 5K!

Thank you for your support of Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry and our mission to build affordable housing in Beaufort!

🏃‍♂️ Beaufort Turkey Trot Overview

• Event Series: The Beaufort Turkey Trot is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, a three 5k race series along with the Run Forrest Run 5K and the Swing Bridge Run 5K.
• Special Awards: Participants who register for the Beaufort Triple Crown and complete all three races will be eligible for special BTC series awards for best combined time.
• Registration Deadline: The registration bundle is only available until October 1st, 2025.

📍 Race Details

• Where: Downtown Beaufort at Bay & Newcastle streets (in front of the Best Western).
• Course: The race start/finish line is on Bay Street in-between the Marina and Best Western at Freedom Mall. Run down Bay Street and across Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island. Turn Right at Meridian Rd and run down to Youmans Drive and double back the same route to Freedom Mall.

🕗 When to Join Us

• Date & Time: Starting at 8am on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

📦 Packet Pick Up Information

• Location: Race T-shirts and bibs will be ready for pick up at Grounded Running, 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108, Beaufort, SC 29902 on Wednesday, November 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• Registration Note: Please note that T-shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after 11/1/2025.

📝 Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up

• On-the-Day Registration: For runners who have not pre-registered, registration will be available on the day of the race from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. for $50.00.
• Pre-registered Runners: They may also pick up their packets at this time if they have not already done so.
• Race Timeline: Registration/Packet Pick Up will close promptly at 7:45 am to ensure the race begins on-time.

🏅 Age Categories

Under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

🏆 Medals & Trophies

• Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female in each age division.
• Overall Finishers: There will be trophies for the top three male and female finishers overall.
• In-person Awards: Awards are for in-person participants only and we will start the awards presentations PROMPTLY at 8:45am.

🐕 Pets & Strollers Policy

• Friendly Event: Event is dog and stroller friendly.
• Leash Requirement: Flexi-type leashes will not be allowed at the event. Please have pets on a standard 4-6ft lead.

🅿️ Parking Information

• GPS Reference: The closest address reference point for your GPS is the downtown marina parking lot across from 1015 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902.
• Traffic Advisory: You'll want to make sure to plan out parking in advance as traffic is expected with the bridge blocked off for the race.
• Plan Ahead: Check Park Beaufort to plan out your parking.

Please note that registration for this event and shipping fees are NOT REFUNDABLE. If we are unable to host an in-person/live race, we will transfer to a virtual format.
