❤️ Why We Strut

Did you know that African American women have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women and are more likely to be diagnosed before age 40? Among Hispanic women, breast cancer will be the leading cause of cancer death (16%), followed by cancers of the lung (13%) and colorectum (9%). That needs to change! Get involved with the Sista Strut and make a difference!

• Goal: To heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color.
• Recognition: Acknowledges the strength of survivors, their family and friends.
• Focus: Promotes early detection and the search for a cure.
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds to benefit the American Association for Cancer Research!

💵 Registration Fees

The registration fees for Sista Strut are:

1. $20 per individual through 5/31/2025
2. $25 per individual through 6/20/2025

Registration Fee this year includes Sista Strut T-shirt. Please note that shirts will be issued in relation to your requested size - as available. While we will do our best to accommodate everyone with the size that fits best, we must try to go by your requested size to try and ensure that everyone receives what they requested.

If you are choosing to pay via Money Order, the above registration fees and dates still stand. You will be able to bring your money order to one of our pickup opportunities to receive your t-shirt. Please note that we will not be able to release your shirt to you or someone else you designate until we receive your money order. Please be sure that all money orders are made out to iHeartMedia Philadelphia.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or credit cards with the Pay Later option.

Shirt sizes are requested: we will try our best to fulfill all requests, but due to increased registration, we have had to estimate some sizes to get shirts in time.
