• Location: Santa Cruz Island, Channel Islands National Park, Ventura, CA
• Distance: 13.1 miles, Eco-Trail run
• Registration Opens: June 16, 2025

🌄 Race Description

• Course: A wilderness run from sea level at Prisoners Cove through highlands, peaks, valleys, and mountains.
• Experience: Described as the most unique wilderness run in the Pacific.
• Boat Ride: Private Island Packers boat ride includes sightings of whales and dolphins.
• Difficulty: Not suitable for trail walkers or first-time runners: challenging areas that require walking.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• Lunch: Complimentary after-party lunch on the island.
• Feedback: Past runners call this the most remote and scenic run on the West Coast.
• Non-Profit: The event supports the Sheriff's Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit.
• No Refunds: No refunds or transfers for entries.

📅 Event Details & Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Race packets available from 5:00 AM to 5:45 AM at Island Packers.
• Departure: The boat departs at 6:00 AM sharp: arrive early!
• Personal Items: Bring a day pack with change of clothes: items will be delivered to the finish.
• No Show-Up Registrations: Registration is online only: cancellations will be handled for the waitlist.
