2025 Child Advocates 5k and 1k Superhero Run

Join us on October 11, 2025, for the 13th annual Child Advocates Superhero Run at CITYCENTRE Houston! Dust off those capes, grab your sidekicks, and be a hero for the day.

• Date: October 11, 2025
• Location: 800 Town and Country Blvd, Houston, TX
• 5K Start Time: 8 AM
• 1K Start Time: 9 AM

The chip-timed 5K run starts at 8am, followed by the 1K run at 9am. Race and costume contest awards ceremony to follow the 1K event. Come out to have a great time running, walking, or spectating for Child Advocates!

👶 About Child Advocates

Child Advocates recruits, trains and supports volunteers who provide a voice for abused and neglected children in the Houston area. As Harris County’s Court Appointed Advocates (CASA) program, we provide lifesaving advocacy that helps children exit foster care to a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.

• Advocacy: Our advocates provide judges with recommendations about where the children they help should live permanently.
• Support: Advocates maintain contact with everyone involved in the children’s lives, ensuring they receive necessary medical and psychological help.
• Emotional Care: Advocates dry tears, give hugs, and occasionally throw birthday parties.
• Commitment: Our volunteers do whatever it takes to ensure the needs of the children are met during a difficult time.
