Morris Hot Cocoa 5k + 10k, December 13th, 10 am

Race Overview

Join us for a festive run on December 13th before the holiday season! Choose to run or walk 3.1 or 6.2 miles and be rewarded with delicious bundt cakes (courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes of Morristown) and a warm cup of cocoa at the finish line.

Course Terrain

The terrain includes mixed terrain of dirt, grass, gravel, and hills: trail shoes are encouraged.

Location Details

• Entrance: Use the North Cottage Road entrance of MCP. GPS: Latitude 40.834866, Longitude -74.503507.
• Parking: Available on the grass, in large parking lots next to the soccer fields, and along the main road through the park.
• Runner Check-In: Located at the top of the park (highest elevation point).
• Amenities: Real bathrooms and portable toilets on site.

Additional Information

• Course Layout: The course is an all-grassy, multi-loop trail with no road crossings and a few hills, ideal for both first-time 5K participants and trail enthusiasts.
• Medals: Age group medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each 10-year interval.
• Proceeds: All proceeds support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
• Pre-Race Pickup: Friday, December 12th, 2-7pm at Fleet Feet, Morristown.
