🏃‍♂️ Miles for Meals 5K Overview

Join us for the first annual Miles for Meals 5K — a community run organized by a local high school student to support families in need through food and fundraising.

❤️ Purpose of the Event

This is more than just a race — it’s a chance to give back. All proceeds and donations from the event will directly support Onslow Community Outreach and the New River YMCA Food Bank, two local organizations helping feed our neighbors.

💰 Donation Details

• 100% of funds raised: will be donated to these food programs.
• Canned and nonperishable food: We are also accepting canned and nonperishable food donations on race day — or you can schedule a pickup before the event!
• Support type: Whether you walk, run, or just show up to cheer others on, your support will make a real impact in our local community.
