The OMKC Non-Runners Run or Go the Extra Mile for the Military Kids

Event Overview

On Saturday October 17th, Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) will be hosting its 8th annual Non-Runners Run, while also offering the 1.5 mile option...for those who want to "Go the Xtra Mile...For the Military Kid.

Registration Costs

• Adults 18 and older: $25 for the 1/2 mile and $35 for the 1.5 mile
• Ages 5-17: $15
• Under 5: FREE

Race Details

• Distance: This race is a half mile with a donut/water stop at the halfway mark.
• 1.5 Mile Participants: Will continue on until the full mile is completed.
• Start Time: The course starts at 10:00am at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church.
• End Location: The race ends at The Salty Turtle.

Incentives

• Age 21 and over: All registered participants will receive a ticket for a free beer at the Salty Turtle at the end of the race.
• 20 and under: Root beer will be provided.
• T-Shirts: All participants will receive a t-shirt if signed up 2 weeks before the event starts (by October 1st).
• Awards: Given to the most patriotic attire/costumes.

• Accessibility: This race is stroller and wheelchair friendly.
• Pets: No dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are allowed on the race course.
