Event Overview
Brevard Zoo's Wild Watermelon 3k is a family-friendly event and great way to kick off your summer! Runners and walkers of all ages will traverse a course through the Zoo passing animals, their habitats and native plants along the way.

Course Information
- Cut-off: There is a one hour cut off for all runners. You will be escorted off the course is you do not finish the course by 8:30 am.
- Refreshments: A water/Gatorade station is along the route and at our start and finish line areas.
- Prize Details: Prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 overall male and female finishers.
- Finisher Medals: ALL finishers will receive a beautiful watermelon-themed medal and commemorative running hat.
Post-Race Festivities
The event features a post-race watermelon feast, with slices of fresh, chilled watermelon courtesy of our presenting partner, the Florida Watermelon Association!

- Race Shirts: Race shirts will be available for purchase for $20 each online prior to the event.
