Friends of Reston Fall 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join the Friends of Reston on Sunday, October 5 for their 5th Annual Friends of Reston Fall 5K, to help raise funds for their scholarship and enrichment programs. All proceeds for this event support the Friends of Reston, a 501(c)(3) supporting organization of Reston Association.

Location: The race will start and finish at Browns Chapel Park.

Time: Race will start at 8:00 am.

Course: Runners will run along the Reston paved trails.

💵 Registration Fees

• 5K: $35 through August 31
• 5K: $40 September 1 through September 30
• 5K: $50 October 1 through Race Day
• 5K (14 & Under): $25 through August 31
• 5K (14 & Under): $30 September 1 through September 30
• 5K (14 & Under): $35 October 1 through Race Day

On-Line registration will remain open through Race Morning. All registrations must be completed on-line.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will be at Browns Chapel Park (1575 Brown's Chapel Rd, Reston, VA 20191) on Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Runners registered before September 14 will be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt, all others will be on a first come first served basis.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to the overall male & female top 3 finishers, as well as the top male and female finisher in the following age groups:

• 9 & under
• 10-12
• 13-14
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70-79
• 80+

Strollers are welcome!

Volunteers are needed. Please contact ha@reston.org or call 703-495-7986 to volunteer. There will be a volunteer orientation on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 am. Please meet at the concession stand at Browns Chapel.
